As the development of The Belt and Road,Chinese Companies are also rapidly increasing their investments and business scope in overseas market.Therefore,cross-culture management has become a significant topic among overseas Chinese-funded enterprises.They are facing lots of problems,such as frequent cross-culture conflicts,barrels in localization,negative local public opinions,which are cussed by the shortage of cross-culture management experiences.The abovementioned problems have brought negative influences to Company P's business and need to be studied and solved.The case study of Company P is argued in this paper with Hofstede's culture dimension and psychological contract theory.The author wants to find the fundamental causes and possible solutions and suggestions by analyzing Company P's cross-culture management problems from the perspective of management concept,management structure and public relationships,and by combining the methodologies used in cross-culture management and the actual business environment Company P is in.The main causes of Company P's cross-culture problems include: Chinese-thinking-oriented management method,low proportion of local management staff,and uncontrollable public relationship.Cross-culture management is a bridge for different culture groups in enterprises to enhance communication,reduce conflicts and resolve contradictions,as well as the only route for Chinese enterprises to go abroad.In order to do business smoothly overseas,Company P needs to implement a high-efficient cross-culture management though the following five approaches to enhance team collaboration,competitiveness and internationalization level: deal with culture conflict efficiently,provide useful cross-culture training,establish a third party culture concept,establish and improve a cross-culture human resource management system,and maintain good public relationships.
