Super absorbent resin is widely used in agricultural garden,medical and health,construction industry and other important fields because of its excellent water absorption and water retention properties.In recent years,with the continuous deepening of research,super absorbent resin has gradually begun to be used in the field of fire fighting.Although water is a commonly used fire extinguishing method,its fluidity is too large,it is not easy to attach,and it is easy to lose,which greatly reduces the fire extinguishing efficiency of water.How to develop a new type of fire extinguishing technology with strong adhesion and effective fire extinguishing has become an urgent problem.Based on this problem,this thesis focuses on the relationship between the concentration of super absorbent resin and the adhesion performance and its influence mechanism.At the same time,it conducts research on the application of new fire extinguishing agents that can effectively improve adhesion.This paper first studied the effect of the concentration of superabsorbent resin on its adhesion properties on wooden boards.The concentration range of gel formation of the sample was determined by rheological method and inversion experiment,and the maximum water absorption ratio of the water-absorbent resin was measured,and its saturated water-absorption concentration was obtained.By simulating the assumption that the spray gun sprayed on the fire scene in the fire truck to extinguish the fire,the sample was sprayed to determine the adhesion performance of the gel by the thickness of the gel on a wooden board with a fixed area.The results show that the adhesion performance of the super absorbent resin is related to its concentration.As the concentration increases,the adhesion performance of the sample increases.When the concentration of the super absorbent resin sample reaches its gel concentration,the adhesion performance is greatly improved.When it continues to increase,the degree of improvement in adhesion performance is small.At this time,due to the effect of gravity,the adhesion layer will fall off in one piece.Secondly,combined with practical application,the preparation of inorganic nano-particle composite fire-extinguishing hydrogel and its adhesion properties were studied.The amount of base superabsorbent resin was determined by rheological methods and inversion experiments.Two inorganic particles of bentonite and kaolin with different mass fractions were added to determine the water absorption rate,frequency scan,steady state shear and Adhesion performance.The results show that as the amount of inorganic nanoparticles added increases,the water absorption of the composite hydrogels decreases,the network strength of the gels increases,and during steady-state shearing,the low-frequency viscosity is large and the high-frequency viscosity is small.It has good processing performance and meets the fluid characteristics of practical application of fire extinguishing agent.With the increase of the addition amount,the adhesion properties of the composites are improved.The compound hydrogels with bentonite and kaolin had similar adhesion ability.The above research results show that the regularity of the adhesion performance and concentration of super absorbent resin can provide a reference for the practical application of hydrogel fire extinguishing agents.The addition of inorganic nanoparticles can effectively improve the adhesion of fire extinguishing hydrogels.Because the usage of super absorbent resin in the field of firefighting is in the initial stage of exploration,so this research is of great significance both in practice and theory.
