Vehicle body styling is an important part of vehicle design.In the traditional car body modeling review,longer time for project review process,the communication between the local designer and the stylist,and the time consuming and costs of the synchronous modeling of different city modeling personnel are costly.In the process of review,due to the long production time of the traditional clay model,the design period of automobile becomes longer.The virtual reality technology is introduced into the car body modeling review,which can effectively optimize the review process,reduce the use of the sludge model,and make the modeling modification convenient and quick.Based on the vehicle ergonomics in virtual reality system,the virtual evaluation method of the driver's field of vision is developed.Only the car model and the seat parameters are needed.The VR technology can be used to observe the real field of vision and use the developed measuring device to check and evaluate the driver's vision directly and accurately.Based on Web,the vehicle modeling remote interactive virtual evaluation system is developed.The virtual reality technology is quoted in the design stage of automobile.The change of car body modeling can be seen,and the communication between designers will be more convenient,and the development cycle and development cost of car body modeling are reduced.The main contents of this paper are as follows:First of all,based on Unity3 D and Oculus Rift helmet virtual reality display technology,combined with 3Ds Max to develop high fidelity virtual reality scene,use C# to develop a virtual roaming algorithm for the reviewer to move freely and rotate in the virtual reality scene.Development of vehicle color customization technology,combined with UGUI to establish virtual reality interaction interface,to achieve interactive virtual color customization function of vehicle body.A virtual evaluation system for vehicle body modeling is constructed,which optimizes the process of vehicle modeling review and shortens the development cycle of vehicle body modeling.On the basis of the virtual review system of body modeling,using Oculus Rift virtual reality helmet to observe the intuition of virtual vision,the virtual measurement device is developed in the virtual reality system,and the virtual measuring device is accurately located to the virtual vision checking position,and its direction is determined.Combined with ergonomics,the driver's virtual vision evaluation system is developed,and the driver's vision is accurately evaluated in virtual reality.The car's different field of view is checked into corresponding modules,and is integrated in the UGUI interaction interface.In order to committe the interactive virtual reality evaluation of car body modeling,a remote interactive virtual evaluation system based on Web is developed.Using the open source A-Frame framework and HTML to develop Web VR,the car model can be displayed on virtual reality through Web.Developing the interactive function of virtual reality based on Web,opening Web through network,and supporting Web GL browser and virtual reality helmet,we can carry on the remote interactive virtual reality review of car body modeling anytime and anywhere.Finally,taking the virtual review of a type of trailer model as an example,the modeling display of the car in the virtual reality environment,the virtual roaming modeling review of the RV,the interior layout of the RV and the interaction of the related car doors,the folding bed,the tent rise and so on.The Web remote virtual evaluation system developed by A-Frame framework is used to realize the remotely interactive modeling review of RV modeling on Web.
