Analysis On Water Demand And Consumption Of Unversities Of Beijing

Beijing is a mega water shortage city,with water resources only about 100 cubic meters,per capita,a 1/20 comparing with the national average.The serious shortage of water resources,insufficient water ecological carrying capacity,and the contradiction of water resources supply and demand,has become the important contradiction that affects the sustainable development and the modernization construction.To alleviate the function of Beijing non-capital,exert water resources to guide the restriction of the development of the capital economy and society,and construct the world-class harmony is the guarantee of Beijing's water security and realize the basis of sustainable development of the capital.In recent years,the water structure of Beijing gradually changed,the primary industrial water decreased,the secondwas stable,the tertiary sector gradually increased water.Beijing is the nationwide university gathering place,in the tertiary industry water,the university water occupies a large proportion.Therefore,the choice of universities as the focus,analysis of water change trend and demand law,to strengthen water management,control of water demand,to achieve the "four-set" goal is of enormous significance.This paper collects water data of 2008-2014 years in 47 universities in Beijing,and analyzes the influence of water use change from the angles of time factor,the population factor,climatic factor,floor area and land area factor.The results show that the water consumption of universities in 2008-2014 basically shows a certain increment trend,and with the increase of the water consumption of the land area,floor area linearly,and with the increase of water consumption of population nonlinearity.The use of regression analysis to analyze the water demand and establishment of water demand forecasting in colleges and universities,In general,the actual value of water consumption and the predicted value are better in the case of the floor area and the total population are smaller.When the land area is small and the maximum,the actual value of water consumption and the predicted value are better.Water conservation is the eternal theme of Beijing's economic and social development,and water-saving has a certain restriction on the demand.In the process of urbanization accelerated,the scale of higher education,the increasing population,how to make water in colleges and universities meet the needs of social development,water-saving measures are indispensable to the implementation.For this reason,universities should strengthen the management of water saving science and technology.As an important part of the water use of public service,the degree of water conservation,the publicity of water saving,the popularization and application of water saving measures will produce good demonstration effect in society.
