Due to the demand of social development and technological progress, environmental pollution and crisis of fossil energy are becoming increasingly serious. Therefore, most of countries are vigorously developing new energy vehicles to replace traditional fuel vehicles, not only does the traditional fuel vehicles consume a large amount of fossil source, they also produce serious automobile exhaust pollution.Among which, the development of electric vehicles is the most concerned. As the basis for the promotion of electric vehicles, the construction of charging stations is crucial. How to select the appropriate charging station location and configure the reasonable number of charging piles is the research objective of this paper. This paper mainly studies the site selection and configuration of public charging stations in urban area, first of all,the paper discusses the problems that should be considered in the planning of public charging stations in cities. The irrationality of the traditional mileage anxiety model and customer waiting model is analyzed, and the factors affecting the planning of charging station are put forward, such as charging willingness of customers and charging demand of electric vehicles.Secondly, according to different influencing factors, five criteria and their submodular function for placement of charging station are proposed. Then, the greedy algorithm improved to meet the efficiency requirements of large-scale data sets is used to solve the problem of placement, and the multi-standard station placement method combining two and three standards is proposed. Finally, the paper adopting multi-channel loss queuing theory model to solve the problem of configuration of the charging pile in charging station, based on the taxi track data and POI data of Beijing, different charging station placement models and different configuration models were compared respectively under the two evaluation criteria of charging pile utilization rate and user coverage rate, and the effectiveness of multi-standard station placement model and multi-channel loss queuing theory configuration model was verified.
