Comprehensive Evaluation Of Interactive Development Between Port And City In Hebei Province

The port is the heart of the coastal city's healthy development and city is the backbone of the rapid growth of the port.Ports and cities are interdependent,mutually restrictive,and mutually influential.Cities are prosperous because of the rise of ports,and ports are developmental by the support of cities.The core issue of the port city is the interaction between the port and the city.The quality of the interaction between the port and the city directly affects the joint improvement of the port economy and the city economy.There are three ports in Hebei: Qinhuangdao,Tangshan and Huanghua.The port economy has played a positive role in promoting the city's total economy,increasing the employment rate,and optimizing the industrial structure of the city.However,the contradiction between the construction of port area and land for urban living,port operations and urban environment,port cargo and urban transportation still exist.It specializes in Hebei Province as its research object,deeply analyzing the economic mechanism of the multi-dimensional interactive development of port and city,and applying relevant econometric models on the economic aggregate,industrial hierarchy,and ecological environment.The results show that the economic interaction is relatively close and optimistic;the industrial structure has not yet the degree of balanced development;and ecological environment has not reached coordinated development.Hebei must take advantage of the favorable policies and the development trend of the port economy to guide the formation of a benign interaction between port and city.It put forward targeted proposals for the coordinated development between ports and cities of Qinhuangdao,Tangshan and Cangzhou.It also puts forward some suggestions stand on the overall perspective of Hebei Province,such as Hebei should conduct policy guidance on port industrial agglomeration,build a comprehensive port cluster,and gradually improve the port collection and distribution structure.What's more,Hebei Province also needs to cooperate with Tianjin,in order to form regional development advantages.In this way,promote the benign interaction between port and city,and achieve a win-win development.Figure14;Table14;Reference 61.
