Study On The Lacquerware Jewelry Gifts And Packaging Design Of Jingzhou Museum

Chu is located in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period.The climate is warm and the rain is abundant.It is suitable for the cultivation of lacquer trees.In addition,the rapid development of the lacquerware manufacturing process during the Warring States period made the Chu lacquerware is exquisite,beautifully decorated and renwmed.Jingzhou Jiangling,as the capital of the Chu State at that time,excavated a large number of Chu Tombs during the Warring States period,and unearthed many lacquerwares,which were displayed in the Jingzhou Museum.Not only that,Jingzhou Museum also collects a large number of lacquerwares from the Qin and Han Dynasties,all of which reflect the glory of the lacquer age.The lacquerware is a representative cultural relic of the Jingzhou Museum.Therefore,the Jingzhou Museum has introduced some lacquer-related gifts for sale in the museum gift shop.However,with the improvement of the aesthetic level of tourists,the single variety of lacquer jewellery gifts and simple packaging can no longer meet the needs of the market,and more creative ideas need to be added.The paper attempts to start from the Jingzhou Museum’s collection of lacquerware.Through a large number of academic literature and field visit investigations,we can learn about the lacquerware’s shape,use,production process,color,patten and style meaning in different periods of Jingzhou Museum,and find out the elements and expressions that are appropriate for lacquer jewellery gift packaging design.The use of elements and expressions.At the same time,I participated in the China National Arts Fund-" Cultivation of lacquer art youth creative talents" project,and made lacquer jewellery in practical creation to understand the modern lacquer jewellery production process.Through market research and online search for various jewelry gifts and packaging designs of major museums,we collect practical cases of domestic and foreign museum jewelry gifts and lacquer jewellery gifts on the market,study the shortcomings of packaging design,and try to solve the problem of poor packaging and insufficient recognition.Further refining and designing the lacquer patterns in the Jingzhou Museum can be applied to the packaging design of lacquer jewellery gifts,which not only enhances the value of the products,but also promotes the lacquerware culture of the Jingzhou Museum.
