Research Of BFC Company Manufacturing Planning And Control Based On Theory Of Supply Chain Management

In the 21 th century,with the fast development of globalization and widespread application of Information Technology,customer demand tend to more and more individuation and customization in manufacturing industry.Since the product life cycle and delivery lead time become shorter and shorter,Manufacturing Planning and Control(MPC)system can't adapted to the market status quo.In order to fix the challenge,MPC system have been integrating with Supply Chain Management(SCM)theory step by step,and finally developed MPC theory based on SCM environment.Supply Chain Management(SCM)including four key element,supply,planning,logistics and demand.As the core element of SCM,MPC connect every point of supply chain and apply critical effect on business operation.The thesis took deep analysis on classic MPC theory and investigated BFC MPC status quo,found out two critical problem: three month rolling forecast issue and MPS(Master Production Schedule)issue.During the root causes analysis process,the thesis apply empirical investigation,qualitative research and quantitative research method.Finally,submitted related improvement suggestions and implemented in BFC.Through the research of this thesis,I optimized BFC company MPC system,improved supply chain performance.Some of the best practice would be extend in diesel engine manufacturing industry.
