| Tea varieties,as an important factor,affect the economic benefits of tea production,and the promotion of improved tea varieties is an essential way to promote the modernization of Chinese tea industry.Generally speaking,clonal tea varieties have extensive promotion value,but whether they are adopted by tea farmers or not is influenced by many factors.For example,West Lake LongJing tea,as the first of the ten famous teas,is produced in hangzhou city with superior technical and economic conditions.However,statistics show that the proportion of clonal tea varieties planted in its producing areas is far lower than the national average.Therefore,this paper focused on the technical and economic research of west lake LongJing tea varieties,combined with the behavior analysis of tea cultivars,to explore the technical and economic benefits and problems in the promotion of clonal tea tree varieties in the actual production.In this paper,315 tea farmers who simultaneously planted "longjing 43",a superior clonal variety,and "longjing group",a traditional variety,were taken as research objects.Firstly,the economic benefits of the two tea varieties are analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis.Secondly,the Stochastic Frontier Analysis was used to explore the production technical efficiency,output elasticity of each input factor and technical progress characteristics of two tea varieties.Then the least square method was used to conduct a quantitative study on the factors influencing the adoption behavior of tea varieties in peasant households.In the end,the qualitative research method is used to analyze the cases of representative tea farmers,explore the evaluation of two tea varieties by tea farmers and the existing problems in planting,and make the following findings.LongJing 43 has high technical and economic value,which is mainly reflected in the following three aspects: first,LongJing 43 has higher economic benefits;Second,the tea farmers produce LongJing 43 with higher technical efficiency;Third,the yield elasticity of main input factors such as tea picking cost,tea garden management cost and color plate of LongJing 43 is higher than that of LongJing families.Further research shows that LongJing 43 should be promoted in the West lake LongJing production area for two reasons.First,"longjing 43" is a neutral technology progress,adapt to the promotion in this area.Secondly,it was found that the planting proportion of LongJing 43 could be kept above 0.44 to obtain higher output benefits.However,the main factors that inhibit the promotion of LongJing 43 in local areas include tea farmers' cognitive bias,high labor cost,information asymmetry,early policy guidance and farmers' limited rational behavior,etc.The promotion of improved varieties of tea tree is a long and complicated process,which is influenced by a series of factors including resources,market and culture.Following the principle of combining market optimization and government regulation,the followin g Suggestions are proposed based on the research conclusions: strengthen the publicity of improved varieties of clonal tea tree,and promote the improvement of tea farmers' cognition;Strengthen scientific and technological support and provide technical guidance for planting and processing of superior varieties;Scientific allocation of varieties planting proportion,scattered tea peak employment;Give full play to the role of policy guidance to guide tea farmers to plant superior varieties;We will optimize the level of socialized services and promote the modernization of the tea industry. |
