Survey On Allocation Of Soil And Water Conservation Plant Measures For Production And Construction Projects In Typical Area Of Hexi Corridor

The Hexi Corridor region has a dry climate,frequent wind-sanding activities,severe and harsh plant growth conditions,and limited plant species for plant measures in the design of water and soil conservation plans for production and construction projects.At the same time,the study on selection of soil and water conservation plant species and allocation of plant measures in production and construction projects in the Hexi Corridor region is insufficient,and there is a lack of investigation,evaluation and summary of the effectiveness of existing soil and water conservation plant measures.Therefore,systematically investigating relevant examples of allocation of soil and water conservation plant measures for production and construction projects in the Hexi Corridor region,and summing up successful experiences and failures,can provide reference for the selection and configuration of soil and water conservation plant measures for production and construction projects in the Hexi Corridor region in the future.This study takes the production and construction projects implemented in the typical area of Hexi Corridor region(Wuwei,Zhangye,Jiuquan)as the research object,and comprehensively considers the site conditions,biological characteristics,ecological characteristics,and irrigation conditions of the plants through data collection,field surveys,and data analysis,and analyzes constraints on soil and water conservation plants.The site factors for the measures,the selection of suitable plant species in the Hexi Corridor region,and the classification of site types based on the site conditions combined with the characteristics of the production and construction project;on this basis,considering the plant characteristics to select the appropriate plant species,the typical measures for soil and water conservation plant measures configuration.The main findings are as follows:1.There are 61 common soil and water conservation plants in the typical areas of Hexi Corridor,including 31 species of trees,19 species of shrubs,and 11 species of grass.2.Suitable plants for soil and water conservation in the typical areas of Hexi Corridor:Pinus sylvestris,Populus alba var.Pyramidalis,Sophora japonica,Salix matsudana,Salix babylonica,Ulmus pumila,Robinia pseudoacacia,Fraxinus chinensis,Rosa rugosa,Amygdalus triloba,Juniperus przewalskii,Picea crassifolia,Prunus salicina,Elaeagnus angustifolia,Tamarix chinensis,Haloxylon ammodendron,Medicago sativa,Festuca ovina,Cosmos bipinnata,Agropyron cristatum,Suaeda glauca,Sedum spectabile,Achnatherum splendens.3.The main types of production and construction projects in the typical area of the Hexi Corridor include municipal engineering,power projects,and road projects.The plant measures of the municipal engineering are mainly arranged by the arbor and shrub-grass structure,the power project is dominated by the herbaceous structure and the arbor and shrub-grass structure,and the road project is mainly composed of the arbor and shrub-grass structure and the arbor structure.4.The municipal engineering project area in the typical area of the Hexi Corridor has excellent site conditions,with good plant growth conditions and high survival rate;the power plant project area has poor site conditions,with poor plant growth and low survival rate;the span of road works is large and the site conditions in the project area are different significantly,and the growth status and survival rate of plants are also different..5.There are 8 plant measures configuration models in the typical area of the Hexi Corridor:configuration mode for industrial park,configuration mode for disturbed area,configuration mode for management area,configuration mode for photovoltaic area,urban road configuration mode,road protection configuration mode,wind and sand fixation configuration mode and configuration mode for road slope.
