Writing embodies the students’ comprehensive ability to use vocabulary,syntax,and sentence pattern’s and also embodies their ability to organize language and textual.However,at the time of writing,foreign students inevitably have more or less errors in the output of the language.These errors greatly hinder the accuracy and coherence of the written expression of the foreign students.Therefore,the mistakes that foreign students make in writing deserve further study.Although there have been previous studies on the specific stages or types of errors of foreign students in writing,the contrastive biases of foreign students in different stages have received little attention.In this paper,we are from the three aspects:vocabulary,syntax,and text,to analyze the errors’ introspection and characteristics in the students at the primary,intermediate and advanced levels in the International Cultural Exchange college at Center China Normal University.Comparative analysis,error analysis and interlanguage theory are used to explain the reasons.In addition,this paper compares the errors made by international students at different stages,and combines the mastery of Chinese in the three stages of the foreign students and the proficiency of the Chinese language to illustrate the differences in the errors of foreign students at different stages of learning when writing,there will be differences.We conducted a comparative study of errors that occurred when foreign students were writing at different stages of learning in order to discover the stage of language learning in teaching Chinese as a foreign language and also provide a better basis for teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The main body of the full text includes four parts:The first part:Introduction.This part introduces the research significance of this paper and the current research status of writing in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.At the same time,it explains the research content and research methods of this article.In the second part,we study the errors in writing of international students.This section statistics and analyzes the composition of foreign students at the primary,intermediate,and advanced levels,and separately describes the errors in the vocabulary,syntax,and discourse of foreign students in the three stages.In the third part,the study of foreign students’ writing errors’ difference.On the basis of the previous chapter,this section compares errors situation of the three stages,and examines the difference errors of foreign students,and discusses the causes of errors’ difference.The fourth part,teaching suggestions.By comparing the different errors of foreign students in writing at different stages,this article attempts to use the results of this research to propose teaching materials,construction of teaching staff,teaching content,and teaching feedback for teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
