A Report On The Translation Of The Employee Handbook Of Life-saving Bank Biotechnology Co,Ltd.

The research on Chinese-English translation of employee handbook in China does not attract extensive attention.Most of the researches pay attention to the discussion of English-Chinese translation strategies of employee handbook.Based on a real translation project,this report aims to explain the whole process of translation and offer an example for Chinese-English translation of the same type of texts.In this report,under the guidance of Nida's Functional Equivalence Theory,the author expounds not only the concrete process of translation practice,but also the application of some translation strategies through the comparative analysis of the first draft and the adaptation,such as the amplification,omission and conversion.Through the translation of employee handbook,the author has combined the theory with the practice and summed up some translation skills for these texts,which has improved her practical abilities and given her a renewed sense of translation.
