In addition to economic globalization,cultural globalization is beginning to draw every country's attention.In this context,China is striving to achieve cultural globalization by taking different methods to tell China's story to the world.However,it is a challenge to help western readers understand and accept China's message as there are huge differences between China and western countries in terms of languages,idiomatic expressions,culture,etc.Taking A Study of Jewish Refugees in China(1933-1945): History,Theories and the Chinese Pattern as a case study,this thesis attempts to put forward solutions and strategies to bridge the gap in languages and logic between Chinese and English and help readers understand China's story.To pass the message to target readers,content of the original text may need to be adjusted and hidden logic should be made explicit.This thesis eventually aims to provide reference for translators who undertake international publicity translation projects.
