With the speedy development of science and technology,the medium form and the terminal platform change with each passing day,The integration of old and new media has become a trend of development.This has brought unprecedented impact on the traditional brand design,and it is urgent to innovate the brand image design,in which the transformation of graphics from static to dynamic is a way of innovation.Motion graphic design has been widely used in all kinds of new-media platforms,and it stands out from various media forms.Motion graphic design not only inherits the visual representation rules of traditional graphic design,but also integrates the visual,auditory and tactile senses.It brings a stronger visual impact and a richer form of interaction,transmits the timeliness and authority information data clearly,and extends the emotional feeling.Motion graphic design(including Logo)as a new creative way,It's appearance will provide a new breakthrough for the brand design.And brings more unexpected results for brand visual communication and creativity,a new era is coming.This paper focuses on application of motion graphic in brand design under the media convergence environment.First of all,the paper studies the background of domestic and international development,and analyzes the current situation of science and technology development and the definition of the era of media convergence;Research on the historical evolution of the motion graphic in the brand design and the survival and development,thecharacteristics of the media elements of motion graphic design are explained in detail.Then combining the theoretical analysis with the practical cases in different media terminals,the paper puts forward the principles and methods of the motion graphic construction.According to the design of IBM Waston VI from Base part?Application part and Terminal part,tries to design the motion graphic of "Mr.Juice".In the end,summarizes the better methods of motion graphic design,technology and brand design.Moreover,tries to predict the possibility and application advantage of motion graphic design to the brand design's developments,from the perspective of interaction and innovation.
