To figure out the situation and feature of Chinese city-rural migrant children's social-adaption,and what and how influence social-adaption,this study explores these problems with two studies.In study 1,based on domestic and foreign existing studies,compile a scale concerning the self-management for Chinese juveniles,which has acceptable reliability and validity.The study 2 use the self-management scale for Chinese juveniles in study 1,‘social adaptation scale' and ‘general self-efficacy scale' as measurement tools,and city-rural migrant children in the Fujian Province as participants,to discuss the relationship among self-management,social adaptation and self-efficacy.The results of this study indicate that:(1)The self-management scale for Chinese juveniles contains 6 dimensions,namely: Self-cognition,goal management,time management,emotional regulation,self-acceptance,behavior regulation.The reliability and validity of the scale were good,and the confirmatory factor analysis model was good.(2)Social adaptation,self-management and self-efficacy of Chinese city-rural migrant children have its own characteristics.City-rural Migrant children have significantly lower level in self-management and its five dimensions(self-cognition,goal management,emotional regulation and behavior regulation),the total score of social adaptation and its two dimensions(learning and school adaptation,social relations and conceptual adaptation)and self-efficacy than those of normal children.(3)The social adaptation of city-rural migrant children is positively related to self-management and self-efficacy.Self-management ability and self-efficacy have a certain predictive effect on the social adaptation of city-rural migrant children.Self-efficacy plays a mediating role between self-management and social adaptation.
