Due to Reform and Opening up,China reaps sound and stable bilateral relationships with many countries. The increasing joint training programs facilitate exchanges on science and technology, agriculture, culture and other fields between China and the rest of the world and boost common prosperity. The Seminar on“Taxation Management for Malawi 2017”showcases a successful exchange on taxation management between the two countries. In the context of expanding interaction of all fields, interpretation plays an increasingly significant role in strengthening bilateral relationship and realizing common development. As the mainstream theory of interpretation, the Interpretive Theory offers positive guidance both in training and field practicing of interpreter.Paris School holds that interpreting is not simply decoding lexicon and sentence of source language but goes through a dynamic process of comprehending the sense, deverbalizing the source language and conducing expression. The“extraction of sense”requires interpreters to shake off the shell of the source language, grasp core sense unit with the help of notes and reorganizes utterance. The Seminar on Taxation Management for Malawi 2017,held from April 7thh to27th,was sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of P.R.C and was organized by Jiangxi College of Foreign Studies. The author was responsible for consecutive interpretation of lectures and addresses in closing ceremony.Through analyzing corpus of record transcript, notes and related documents, the author finished this report in light with the sense, sense unit and cognition supplement of Interpretive Theory. The process of“extraction of sense”stands out as the severest task for interpretation trainees, thus the author analyzed her own field interpretation experience and drew a conclusion that the quality of consecutive interpretation can be greatly improved with the help of deverbalization and other related interpretive tactics.
