A Simulated Consecutive Interpretation Report On President Xi Jinping's Speech At The 30th Anniversary Celebration Of The Founding Of Hainan Province And The Hainan Special Economic Zone

Based on Xi Jinping's speech at the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the provincial special economic zone in Hainan,this report is a summary on the author 's practice of simulated interpreting.The interpreting practice conducted under the guidance of the interpretive theory aims to improve the interpreter's skills.Many corresponding strategies are used to finish this report,including word supplement and ellipsis,sentence reorganization and logic integration.Although problems and mistakes exist,the interpreter finally finishes this exercise and has self-reflection on the mistakes she made at the end of this report.This report consists of five chapters:chapter one briefly introduces and describes the background and purpose of the interpreting task;chapter two describes the interpreting process;chapter three briefly explains the interpretive theory,including the source and application of this theory;chapter four is systematic analysis for some typical cases from the perspective of vocabulary additions and deletions,sentence reorganization and logical processing,etc.;chapter five is the reflection on some problems which shows during the interpreting practice process.
