With the advent of information era,the demand of translation keeps growing. The computational technology for translation is also developing fast with more and more Computer-aided Translation(CAT)and Machine Translation(MT)products. However, because of the weaknesses of machine translation,we cannot totally rely on it and need to combine it with manual post-editing(PE)in order to ensure the translation quality. This paper adopts the mode of CAT+MT+PE(online computer-aided platform Tmxmall+Google translation+post editing).By using the computer-aided platform to establish the glossary and translation memory, the matching degree between translation memory and target text is analyzed. It is concluded that the matching degree of terms and proper nouns is good, but the matching degree of sentences is not satisfactory, mainly due to the lack of related corpora. In addition, machine translation has some limitations.Machine translation is efficient in the processing of simple sentences and sentences with complete components, but not efficient when it comes to the processing of non-subjective sentences or sentences with passive voice. The translator introduces the types of post editing and case studies from the aspects of vocabulary and sentence structures.Based on this analysis, techniques of post editing is expounded, and the errors existing in machine translation are modified to present a high-quality translation. It is hoped that this report can provide reference for the culture tourism study and the use of computer-aided translation software in the practice of translation.
