Modal particles play a very good role in expressing one's ideas or feelings in Chinese language, but bring some difficulties for foreign students in learning Chinese, which has also become one of the difficulties for Indonesian students in the learning process.Considering the fact that Indonesian students often use Chinese modal particles when learning Chinese,we think that it is necessary to study and solve the errors occured as soon as possible. This paper studies the errors of middle and advanced level Indonesian students in using modal particles "A(?)","BA(?)" and "NE(?)" in Chinese non-interrogative sentences. At the same time,we interviewed students to understand the current teaching situation of modal particles,so as to provide targeted learning strategies and teaching suggestions for Indonesian students to learn Chinese modal particles better. In this paper,116 Indonesian students at the intermediate and advanced level in China were selected as the research objects, and 1,477 error examples were collected through questionnaires.According to the survey results, the middle and advanced Indonesian students master modal particle "BA(?)best",while the mastery of "A(?)" and "NE(?)" needs to be strengthened.Students are most likely to be confused between the usage of "A(?)" and "NE(?)",and least likely to be confused between "BA(?)" and "NE(?)".Students have a strong tendency to use the modal particle "A(?)",especially by misusing it to substitute "BA(?)" in the sentence, and misusing it to substitute "BA(?)" and "NE(?)" at the end of declarative sentences. At the end of declarative sentences, students have a tendency to avoid the use of "NE(?)".The errors occurred by students can be divided into four types, which are substitution errors, addition errors, omissions and structural errors, among which the proportion of substitution errors is the highest. After further analysis, this paper holds that overgeneralization of target language, the complexity of Chinese language itself, negative transfer of mother tongue and learning strategies are the main reasons for students' errors. In order to reduce errors, this paper proposes teaching tasks from four aspects, which are, focus on explaining the use of "NE(?)" at the end of declarative sentences, and eliminate the tendency to avoid using "NE(?)".Clarify the use of "A(?)" at the end of statements and eliminate the tendency of students to overuse "A(?)";Focus on the use of "BA(?)" in the middle of sentences;Emphasize the differences between "A(?)" and "BA(?)" used in imperative sentences, and illustrates the teaching ideas for each modal particles with examples. For students to learn modal particles, this paper mainly proposes to reduce the dependence on mother tongue, try to understand the learning content from target language's perspective.
