Social appellation is an indispensable part of interpersonal communication.The first thing people talk about is social appellation.Due to the complexity and cultural nature of social appellation,foreign students will have many difficulties in their studies,and they are prone to errors when communicating with others.Therefore,social appellation is the focus and difficulty of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Research on social appellation teaching is conducive to guiding foreign students to use social appellation appropriately.In "Development Chinese"(Advanced Comprehensive)textbooks,some social appellations have low reproducibility.Limited by the subject matter and content of the text,the distribution of social appellations in the textbook is unbalanced.Narrative and daily life-related texts involve more social appellations,while science and technology and classical Chinese texts involve less social appellations.In terms of social type,there are various forms of social appellations in textbooks,including spoken,written,face and back forms.There are five types of social appellations,namely general appellations,relational appellations,job title appellations,quasi-kinship appellations,and other social appellations,which are all covered in the textbook.In the aspect of part-of-speech tagging,there are cases where categorical words and some social appellations are not marked.In terms of interpretation,social appellations mainly adopt the method of definition.Which is too simple and the accuracy needs to be improved.Through the analysis of the social appellation bias corpus,we find that the errors in the HSK dynamic composition corpus include six types:excessive generalization,production,misuse,confusion replacement,omission and mis-addition,and incorrect writing.Mistakes in the corpus of international students at Yangzhou University include three types:production,misuse,and confusion.The bias errors of social appellation is possibly caused by the complexity of the social appellation system,the over-generalization of the target language rules,cultural differences,and insufficiency writing of textbooks.Based on the analysis of the arrangement of social appellation in "Development Chinese" textbooks and bias corpus,we think that the textbook should increase the reproducibility of commonly used social appellations,improve the accuracy of interpretation,pay attention to the times and practicality of social appellation.From the perspective of teaching,teachers mainly direct students to memorize by association.Combined with stratified teaching and timely summary,they integrate culture into classroom teaching and set up scenes for teaching.
