The Chinese comprehensive course is one of the core contents in TCFL.However,the traditional Chinese teaching methods always have bad influence on the comprehensive course,which also make it difficult for students to use the language knowledge they learned to communicate.The intermediate stage of TCFL is a difficult period of transition for international students who are lack of confidence easily in this stage.Task-based teaching method is different from the traditional teaching modes,it focuses on “learning by doing”.Students are asked to study language by finishing tasks,in this way,they can stimulate their subjective initiative,develop their self-confidence about learning Chinese and practice the skills like listening,speaking,reading as well as writing,which are accordant with the main teaching aims of the compressive course.This paper is based on the relevant theories of TBLT and took the lesson I learned generous in China in the intermediate comprehensive textbook of Developing Chinese Series as an example to design a teaching plan.Through studying the typical documents and teaching cases about TBLT and the intermediate Chinese comprehensive course,four teaching principles are given: communication materials are authentic in course;students are the important part in course;course studies are for practical use;emphasis is laid on develop students' comprehensive abilities.Then after analyzing teaching materials,objects,key and difficult points,the teaching design is divided into three parts with six lessons.The tasks are arranged into lead-in,words-studying,grammar-studying and culture-studying.Meanwhile,the actual teaching procedures and the requirements of tasks are given in this paper.Based on the analysis and research of students' performances and feedbacks,students' participation are developed and students' communication with teachers are improved with the guidance of TBLT in intermediate Chinese comprehensive course.In view of the problems existing in the process of tasks' implementation,this paper put forward some useful suggestions: to make tasks more interesting,to increase the interaction between students,and to increase activities of the new words' repetition during the class.It is hoped that this paper can provide some useful ideas for the future teaching plan design of TCFL and intermediate Chinese course teaching.
