In the middle of the 19th century, the anarchism, represented by the father of anarchism Proudhon and his students Bakunin,is widely spread in western countries.Anarchism had a great negative effect on the workers' movement in Europe at that time about the abolition of the country and the abandonment of the political struggle of the working class. In the article "Political Indifference",It not only played an important role in the struggle against anarchism, but also solved the problem of how we treat freedom, countries and revolutions today. This thesis mainly interprets this article from four aspects, the first is the background and theoretical origin of this article, the rapid development of capitalism, the outbreak of the European bourgeois democratic revolution and the failure of the practice of Paris Commune have created conditions for the wide spread of anarchism. The second aspect is the main content of this text, the article uncovered the true purpose of the anarchists to defend the bourgeois freedom by enumerating the views of the anarchists against all political and economic struggles against the working class. The third aspect is to explain Marx's theory,in view of freedom, anarchism advocates absolute freedom, while Marx advocates dialectical unity of freedom. On the view of the state, anarchism advocates the immediate abolition of the state, while Marx believes that the state is a natural extinction, but only the dictatorship of the proletariat is needed to make a transition for the realization of communism. In the view of revolution, anarchist fantasies relied on farmers and small assets to destroy the country through a conspiracy of violence, while Marx advocated a violent revolution led by the proletariat. Finally, the theoretical significance of this text and the realistic significance of Marx's view of freedom, state and revolution embodied in this text are of great guiding significance to the wrong views of freedom, state and revolution in the process of socialist construction and development in our country.
