An Empirical Study On Public Security Participation In Urban Community

The status quo of our country in the primary stage of socialism has not changed,and the rapid progress of society calls for quickening the process of modernization of national governance system and governance capacity,and calls for a safer and more harmonious social environment.The stability of grass-roots society is directly related to the ruling basis of the party.It concerns whether the goal of "two one hundred years" can be successfully completed,which is related to the successful realization of the Chinese dream of great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Our country is in the acceleration period of social transformation.The social strata are becoming more and more differentiated,and the flow of population is more frequent.Various deep-seated contradictions are beginning to appear and intertwined.The awareness of citizens is gradually awakening,the demand for interests is more pluralistic,and the demand for security is increasing day by day.The scope of public participation is becoming more and more wide.Political,economic,cultural,and social are all areas of public participation.Residents' participation in public security activities is not only the essential requirement of community governance,but also an important index to measure community autonomy.Its upgrading and optimization is of great significance for building a comprehensive social security system with universal participation and universal public participation.This study is based on the theory of citizen participation and the theory of public service.The selection of the topic,based on the theoretical and empirical research methods,through field investigation of Yangzhou X community,the community residents to participate in public security investigation of current situation and problems,and the lack of analysis of the reasons,summed up the decision type,absorbing type,inform the type to improve the type five public participation mode.Suggestions for improvement are put forward,hoping to provide suggestions for community governance and public security governance through this research,and provide inspiration for further improving the level of public security participation in China.This study is divided into the following parts:The first part: mainly including the issue and the significance of the research.This paper introduces the origin and research status of the topic,and points out the practical value and theoretical significance of the study of public security participation.The second part: the introduction of research ideas and research hypotheses.Through the previous research,nine research hypotheses were put forward,and the index system and the dependent variable and independent variable were designed.The research method is introduced and the main research concepts are defined.The third part: a statistical description of the status of public security participation in the community of X in Yangzhou.By using frequency analysis,correlation analysis,regression analysis and other methods,we can understand the status of public security participation,the willingness of residents to participate in public security,and the degree of public security participation.Nine hypotheses are verified respectively.The fourth part: combined with the research status and theoretical analysis,the main modes of public security participation are put forward.And the relevant situation of the interview will be reflected,and the argument is strengthened.The fifth part: point out the influence factors of urban community residents' public security participation,and put forward the countermeasures and suggestions.We should expand the channels of public security participation,enhance participation awareness and willingness,build a more harmonious relationship between the police and the people,straighten out the relationship between public security governance subjects and residents,establish incentive,education and evaluation mechanisms,and improve the legal participation mechanism of public security participation.
