A Study On Public Participation In Urban Community Governance

With the reform of economic system, changes of social structure, and adjustment of benefit patterns, community as the cell of the society, directly reflecting the public demands for life demand, adjustment of interest relations, and class structure, has become an important issue of community governance. Due to the growth of need in community, a large number of community public affairs need to negotiate, cooperation, communication. Public participation in community governance has become the focus of attention, both in theoretical research and practical exploration.Based on the learning community governance in domestic and external public theoretical achievements and experience, the author analysis an existing problems of public participation in community governance from the work in Jinbi community of Xishan District of Kunming city and thinking this for a long time. As an example, we can analysis attempts from the integration of community resources, awareness of public participation cultivating social organizations, and explore the Countermeasures for public participation in city community governance system innovation mechanism. At last we find the way to promote the development of the practice of community governance through the analysis.
