Research On The Strategy Of Government Coping With Internet Public Opinion In Nimby Group Incidents

In the period of transformation of China,social instability factors are increasing,the contradictions among the various stakeholders are further deepened and our citizens' democratic consciousness is gradually enhancing,which leads to the difficulty of social governance.In recent years,the construction and operation of many public facilities have been strongly opposed by the surrounding residents,and the NIMBY group incidents occur frequently.While the Internet is enriching and facilitating people's daily life,the Internet platform has gradually become a public area where people receive information and express opinions.Internet public opinion also has a great impact on the public governance of the government.In the case of NIMBY group incidents,how to analyze the incident objectively,respond to the network public opinion timely and effectively and then take reasonable measures to control the situation is an urgent problem to be solved.According to the actual situation of our country,Chinese scholars have already initially explored all aspects of the concept,characteristics,formation and response of the situation of the NIMBY group incidents and the network public opinion,a systematic theoretical system has been formed.However,the research on network public opinion in the NIMBY group incidents is relatively lacking.So this article attempts to start with the concept,causes,and characteristics of the network public opinion in the NIMBY group incidents,using the method of literature analysis and comparative analysis,and after the analysis of the current situation of the government's response to the network public opinion,it points out some problems in the government's work and the reasons for these problems.And on the basis of referring to the experience of foreign network public opinion governance,some countermeasures are put forward for our government to deal with he incidents,hoping to provide some valuable theoretical experience for the government to deal with the incidents in the future.
