Study On The Status Of Community Participation Of The Elderly In Urumqi

With the acceleration of the aging process of population,the elderly are becoming an important part of modern society.At the same time,the theory and practice of "healthy aging","successful aging" and "productive aging" have gradually been paid attention to and put into practice.This means that the elderly are increasingly becoming an important force to participate in social governance,and the degree of community participation of the elderly also plays a very important role in social governance and community construction.Therefore,under the guidance of social support theory,demand theory and activity theory,the author makes a detailed understanding of the situation of community participation of the elderly in a community in Urumqi by means of questionnaire and structural interview.After a survey of 70 elderly people and interviews with 6 elderly people,it is found that the status of community participation is not very optimistic in the community,mainly in the following aspects: lack of participation,small size of participants,low participation and low participation.On this basis,this article will analyze the situation of the community from three aspects of the government,the community and the individual,trying to find out the problems and causes of the community participation in the community.On the basis of summarizing the experience of the excellent community participation from home and abroad,and combining the unique geographical and humanistic factors in Xinjiang,the laws and regulations of citizen participation in community activities are refined on the level of government system,and a reasonable community organization development system is constructed,and the community residents are encouraged to consciously and spontaneously carry out community management and supervision.At the level of community organization,we should strengthen the training of the service personnel of the elderly and the workers of the community,expand the service business of the community organizations and improve the quality of their services.At the individual level of the community,theawareness of citizens and the awareness of public participation are promoted and the ability and quality of their own will be improved.In order to help the elderly in the community to participate in community activities and community affairs.
