Research On Influencing Factors Of Villagers’ Participation Behavior In Environmental Governance

As the rural main body,the villagers are not only the users of the environment,but also the beneficiaries of the environment.The participation of the villagers in environmental governance is of paramount importance.In recent years,with the continuous improvement of people’s living standards,the awareness of villagers participating in village public affairs has gradually awakened.The enthusiasm for participation is constantly rising.However,there are still some problems which should not be neglected,such as the lack of sense of responsibility of villagers,the inability to balance personal interests and public interests,and the lack of motivation for participation.Local governments and village committees lack effective guidance measures and provide limited channels for participation.Problems such as inadequate laws and regulations.These have hindered the active and effective participation of the villagers.Therefore,it is important to study the participation of villagers in environmental governance behaviors and their influencing factors,and to make targeted suggestions based on this,to give full play to the role of villagers,actively and effectively participate,and optimize the structure of environmental governance.Meaning and practical significance.On the basis of collecting and combing the relevant literatures of previous scholars,based on the theory of deliberative democracy,good governance theory,rational behavior theory and planning behavior theory,this paper explores the participation behavior of villagers in environmental governance and its influencing factors,including the villagers.The four dimensions of self-factor,economic factor,institutional factor and cultural factor are divided into two dimensions: production behavior and life behavior,and questionnaires and interview outlines are designed for these dimensions.Questionnaires were distributed to villagers in some villages in Baoding Anguo City,Hebei Province,and targeted interviews were conducted during the survey to compensate for the lack of questionnaires.Descriptive statistical analysis,reliability and validity analysis,correlation analysis and regression analysis were carried out by using SPSS22.0 data statistical analysis software to analyze the data of villagers’ participation behavior and influencing factors,and to analyze the characteristics of current villagers’ participation behavior and various factors affecting villagers’ participation behavior.influence level.The analysis results show that the factors affecting the participation behavior of the villagers from high to low are economic factors 0.687,villagers’ own factors 0.556,cultural factors 0.536,institutional factors 0.521,among which economic factors have the highest correlation coefficient between economic income level and participation behavior..The non-parametric test of some demographic variables shows that the gender,age,occupation,education,political appearance and other influences on the participation behavior of the villagers find that the participation behavior of the villagers with different education level and political appearance is different,and other variables have no influence.At the same time,it is concluded that the characteristics of the participation behavior of the villagers are mainly driven by interests,more passive participation in the process of participation,poor participation depth and validity,and participation in the private sector.According to the empirical research and interview results,the analysis of the reasons for the influencing factors of villagers’ participation behavior is mainly analyzed from the subjective and objective levels: subjective reasons are mainly the weak sense of villagers’ ownership,lack of environmental protection quality of villagers,limited education and ideas.Causes of backwardness and other reasons,objective analysis of the reasons,mainly low information disclosure,poor participation channels,imperfect regulatory systems,single governance subjects and lack of publicity and education.Based on this,the research enlightenment is proposed to provide reference for the improvement of village participation theory,and to provide evidence for the government to increase villagers’ participation awareness,participation ability and participation enthusiasm.
