Study On The Old-age Security For The Rural Poor Elderly In Hengyang

With the acceleration of population aging and the change of family structure,the traditional concept of the elderly support has been impacted,and the old-age security is facing severe challenges.In China,under the strategic background of targeted poverty alleviation,poverty alleviation and building of a moderately prosperous society in all respects,perfecting the old-age security system and improving the old-age security system are of positive significance for the elderly to enjoy their old age in peace and build a harmonious society.The problem of old-age security plays a key role in the national economy,people's livelihood and the healthy development of social economy.To achieve the goal of economic prosperity,national renewal,and people's happiness,it is necessary to study the problem of old-age security in depth.The elderly population is a large and broad group.This paper mainly chooses the rural poor elderly who are representative of this group and can reflect the universality of the whole group as the object of study,and takes the rural poor elderly in Hengyang as the specific research object.This paper analyzed the problems existing in the process of the old-age security for the rural poor elderly in Hengyang,and summarized the problems as the weakening of family old-age security function,the scarcity of endowment resources,excessive expenditure on health of the elderly and insufficient participation of social groups.Then the paper analyzed the causes of the problems by means of combining macro with micro,finally learning from the developed countries' experiences used new public service theory to solve the problems and put forward the solution to the old-age security of the rural poor elderly in Hengyang from the government,society,family and individual perspectives.By means of questionnaires and field interviews,this paper makes a concrete study on the related problems of the old-age security of the rural poor elderly in Hengyang,aiming at providing useful policy suggestions for the relevant departments of Hengyang Government to solve the old-age problem of the rural poor elderly,improving the present old-age security system and broadening the research field of the old-age security.
