As a new and socialized way of execution,community corrections aims at managing community correction objects by a mode that is led by government and participated by social forces.It not only accords with the criminal policy of combining punishment with leniency,but also embodies the diversification and socialization of public management subject.In China,community corrections is still a new thing in constant development.Research on this subject will broaden the theoretical perspective on community corrections and provides constructive and operable advice for the perfection and smoothly carrying out of community corrections and the strengthening and improving of the management of special groupsBased on extensive reading of related literatures,and adopting research methods such as questionnaire survey,in-depth interviews,participation observation,this article analyses the current situation of community corrections of Haigang Distric and the problems and causes.As a conclusion,at present,the management of community corrections in Haigang District should be led by the government and meanwhile vigorously cultivate and guide social forces participate in community corrections.And the countermeasures are as follows:changing the Working philosophy,strengthening self-governing local organizations in urban and rural areas like community and village committees,guiding social forces to participate in community corrections,perfecting the laws and regulations and management rules,strengthening team construction.
