With the deepening of China's comprehensive deepening of reform work,the party and the people have put forward new standards and strict requirements for the work ability and service level of grassroots governments.As a link between government agencies and the people,grassroots civil servants have a direct impact on the implementation of government policies and the quality of system implementation.At present,the performance appraisal system and methods for grassroots civil servants in China are still not mature enough.Because there is no unified assessment standard,the content of the assessment is not comprehensive enough,and the lack of communication and feedback on the assessment results,the performance appraisal of many grassroots units is superficial.Therefore,based on this background,this paper selects the performance appraisal of grassroots civil servants in the Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Human and Social Affairs as the research object,and summarizes the problems existing in the current performance evaluation of grassroots civil servants through investigation,research,data collection and case analysis.On the other hand,it puts forward reasonable suggestions and countermeasures for improving the performance appraisal of grassroots civil servants in the People's Social Security Bureau.This paper first analyzes the research background,significance and the status quo of performance evaluation of grassroots civil servants at home and abroad,and determines the main content and methods of the research.On this basis,the paper analyzes the status quo of performance appraisal of grassroots civil servants in Pidu District,including the basic situation of Pidu District and its civil servants,and the performance appraisal method of Pidu District and its civil servants.Through the performance appraisal of grassroots civil servants in Pidu District,the problems of performance appraisal of grassroots civil servants in Pidu District are analyzed,including the deviation of performance appraisal concept,unscientific design of indicators,lack of necessary communication feedback mechanism,performance appraisal system and unsound laws.etc.Finally,the countermeasures and suggestions for improving the performance appraisal of grassroots civil servants in Pidu District.
