A Research On Residents'Participation Of "Village-to-Community"

With the improvement of the economic level and the acceleration of the urbanization process,a large-scale evacuation of villages and housing construction is under way.As a transitional community,""Village-to-Community" is a special form of community in the process of urban-rural dual structure turning to urban-rural integration,which not only retains the spirit of the original rural community,but also contains the characteristics of the urban community.Under the background of social transformation,it is imperative to establish and improve the new community construction model.At the Fifth Plenary Session of the 18th Central Committee,the goal of building a "pattern of social governance for all people to build and share" was put forward.As the basic unit of grass-roots social governance,community is the community and basic platform of civil society life.Citizens are the core elements of community governance.Whether they can participate in community governance is an important guarantee to improve the performance of community governance and build a shared community governance pattern.Based on the logical thinking of "describing the present situation-analyzing the situation-putting forward the problem-solving",with the help of literature research and case study,combined with the relevant theories of community governance and residents'participation,starting from the research background,taking the W community of Xiamen " Village-to-Community " as the research object,this paper thoroughly understands the characteristics and current situation of residents'participation in W community governance,and analyses the characteristics and current situation of residents'participation in W community governance.The existing problems and specific reasons are analyzed.At the same time,based on the advanced experience at home and abroad,suggestions and countermeasures are put forward to improve residents'participation in community governance of " Village-to-Community".
