Education,as a social public resource and basic public service,has become a hot topic in today's society.General Secretary Xi Jinping once mentioned: "Educational equity is an important foundation of social equity.We must continue to promote the development of education to achieve more and more fair benefits to all people,and to promote social equity and justice with educational equity." Education equity is not only related to the immediate interests of every member of the society,but also related to the stability of the whole society.With the development of society,the issue of educational equity not only stays in the equality of educational opportunities and educational rights,but also in the equity of the educational process and the equity of educational results.The fairness of educational opportunities and educational rights means that everyone has equal rights to receive education.Equality of educational process is more concerned with "teaching students in accordance with their aptitude",equity of educational results is reflected in the equity of educational quality and children's future development.The current grim issue facing society is no longer whether to go to school,but whether to go to a good school.Although the educational resources have been greatly improved,and every child has the right to equal access to education,the fairness of the educational process and the fairness of the educational results are still not satisfactory.The government,as the main provider and distributor of public resources and services,plays a vital role in the issue of educational equity.To promote educational equity is not only the mission of the government,but also a responsibility.Therefore,the government should take the initiative to participate in the issue of education equity,and formulate relevant restriction mechanisms to promote the protection of education equity.At the same time,the establishment of a multi-education mechanism led by the government,with the participation of schools,parents,social organizations,and the public can form a multi-sectoral force in the process of educational development,and resolve and change the issue of educational equity as much as possible.This article first clarifies the background and significance of the research on urban andrural education equity issues in local government public services,analyzes and summarizes the research status of education equity in government public services at home and abroad,and builds a research framework.Secondly,after clarifying the research methods and innovations of this article,by explaining and defining the relevant concepts,the theoretical basis of this article is clarified,and the research is carried out accordingly.Again,find out the Z stage of city development of education,analysis of the problem Z municipal public services in urban and rural areas there is a fair education,delve into the reasons Z municipal public services in urban and rural education inequality problem exists.Then,through the analysis and combing of the foregoing,the countermeasures and suggestions for improving the equity of urban and rural education in the public services of local governments are proposed,starting from five aspects,and matching the problems with the causes one by one,so as to ensure that the proposed countermeasures and suggestions can solve the local government Urban and rural education equity issues involved in public services.Finally,the content of this article is summarized and prospected.
