For Young Pioneers,the construction and identification of their identity is an important prerequisite to cultivate reliable "successors." As Young Pioneers are in an important period of identity recognition,development,and acceptance,the level of their identification has an effect on the work of Young Pioneers at school,the sense of their identity,and the national identity and political identity of them.At present,because researches on the identity of Young Pioneers mainly focuses on the "deep description" of the political identity of young children and the education of Young Pioneers,studies on the theme of Young Pioneers' identity are rare.Young Pioneers are the most important identity of children.In order to supply researches on Young Pioneers' identity,the thesis points at analyzing the status,problems and causes of their identity through quantitative questionnaires and qualitative interviews,and then putting forward related strategies to promote the positive identity of them.First of all,Young Pioneers' identity is the process that children learn and accept the identity of Young Pioneers.Through literature reviews and early researches,the questionnaire and interview outline of Young Pioneers' identity are compiled.160 primary school students were selected for prediction in the C Primary School in Wuhan,and then 990 Young Pioneers from more than 10 primary and secondary schools were selected for formal measurement.The final dimensions of the questionnaire are identified as:identity and emotion,interdependence beliefs,self-categorization,self-evaluation,and evaluation of others.Combined with the questionnaire content,the outline of the identity interview of Young Pioneers was considered to make from three aspects:identity image,identity motivation,and identity attachment.3 to 4 Young Pioneers who are from grade 2 to grade 8 are randomly selected,and there are altogether 62 of them are interviewed.Second,based on the analysis of the questionnaire and interview results,and the following conclusions could be drawn:the identification level of the Young Pioneers developed in an inverted U-shape with the grade;based on the analysis of the questionnaire and interview results,;the identification level of the Young Pioneers have significant differences in demographic variables(grade,gender,whether they are first to join the team,whether they are cadres in Young Pioneers,academic performance,and home location);in short,the Young Pioneers have a high level of identity,which is mainly reflected in their positive identity and emotions,and their identity image is positive;the identity motivation of Young Pioneers is divided into internal motivation,external motivation,and dual motivation(internal and external motivation).Although the overall level of Young Pioneers' identity is relatively high,there are also many problems.More specifically,the Young Pioneers' identifiable motives are prominent;the core elements of them are far from children's life;their sense of attachment is weak;the tendency to identify is greater than the "value" identification for them.The causes of these problems are analyzed from the following three aspects:social macro factors,school micro factors and Young Pioneers subject.Combined with the existing results and research results,some advice is put forward to promote the identity of Young Pioneers:using multiple means to strengthen the supervision of network environment;establish a scientific view of children;enrich the identity of Young Pioneers;Attach importance to the work of Young Pioneers at school;attach importance to the subjectivity of Young Pioneers;Attach importance to the professional development of counselors.
