Research About Social Work Intervenes To Urban Community Self-organization Cultivation

China is undergoing a period of social transformation.People's needs are becoming more diverse and social issues are becoming more complex.In addition,the disintegration of the unit system has greatly reduced the degree of social organization,which makes social governance innovation become a hot topic.As community is smallest unit in social governance,urban communities with low sense of cohesion and identity,urge to establish community self-organization mechanism to rebuild inner connection,promote residents' participation,meet individualized needs and face the problem brought by social transformation.Given to its professional value and scientific methodology,social work rooting in community,is an important force of social governance as well as a direct subject to cultivate community self-organization.By cultivating self-organization,social work improves residents' awareness of community participation and motivate community to be organized,which does good to social governance.Based on this background,this article,taking “Self-Organization Cultivation Project in Y Community” for example,gathers information and data via participatory observation and interview.The process of cultivation is analyzed with the basis of self-organizing theory and model C.L.E.A.R,from which the generalized experience about how social work cultivate community self-organization is concluded.What's more,this article reflects on the weakness of social work's cultivating self-organization and gives effective advices,providing reference for practice filed.The research finds that: Firstly,the effective way for social worker to cultivate community self-organization is the model of double-line cultivation which develops self-organization and self-organization linkage platform,of tremendous benefit on resource integration and cultivation sustainable development.Secondly,when social worker cultivates community self-organization,there are several shortages doing harm to the development of self-organization,such as lack of professional social worker,unsystematic capacity training,overly dominant role of social worker and inadequate community mobilization.Thirdly,to ensure the healthy development of community self-organization and give full play to the supporting role of the community self-organization linkage platform,social workers should improve the incentive system and vocational training system to increase the enthusiasm and professional ability of the breeders;set up a systematic capacity-building system to strengthen the soft power as well as internal drive of community self-organization;set up a self-management groups and build social support network for community self-organization to improve self-organization linkage platform,and complementarity between community self-organization;via extensive community mobilization,promote the interaction between community self-organization and residents,also enable the self-organization to be open to the residents.
