Today’s society is a society with technology and information as the core force and continuous development.Under such a social background,the popularity and widespread application of the Internet have become a reality.The number of Internet users has increased dramatically.Commenting on some hot news events has become the norm.Because of this,information dissemination has achieved leaps and bounds,especially in terms of dissemination speed and dissemination breadth,reaching an unparalleled stage.In the environment of new media,some sudden and major events that can attract public attention can easily become the focus of public attention and hot discussions.For these sudden and major incidents,if the government departments are involved,the effects caused can not be predicted.If these relatively major and sudden events continue to ferment,and there is a lack of proper response and handling by government departments,it will most likely lead to a serious public opinion crisis,that is,a network public opinion crisis.The emergence of an online public opinion crisis can not only damage the image of the government and affect the credibility of the government,but also adversely affect social development and stability.In response to the Internet public opinion crisis,the government has achieved some results,but it still presents problems such as inefficiency,which cannot meet the needs of the Internet public opinion response in the new era and needs to be adjusted urgently.Based on the background of the we media era,this article analyzes the coping strategies of the local government’s online public opinion in combination with two cases such as red,yellow and blue kindergartens.First introduce the research background,meaning,and research status at home and abroad,and then explain the concepts,characteristics,classification,and characteristics of new media on the basis of new media,and from the butterfly effect,agenda setting theory,gatekeeper theory,etc.Analysis.After that,the development process of the local government’s response to public opinion in the new media era was introduced,and the four development stages were briefly summarized.The effect of the local government’s response to the online public opinion in the new media era is analyzed,and it is combined with the red,yellow and blue kindergarten and the case of Jiangsu Wuxi viaduct rollover to prove it.Through the analysis of the cases,it is found that the local government’s online public opinion response in the new media era: the timely warning of the online public opinion crisis,the untimely disclosure of the online public opinion information,the ineffective response to the guidance of the online public opinion,the inadequate accountability of the online public opinion crisis,and the evolution law of the online public opinion Grasp inaccuracy and other issues,and further explore the cause of the problem.Finally,based on the analysis of problems and reasons,this paper proposes an improvement strategy for the local government’s response to online public opinion in the new media era: changing the traditional concept of online public opinion response,strengthening the awareness of the crisis of government online public opinion,improving relevant legislation of government online public opinion,and improving government online public opinion Response to long-term mechanism,improve the government’s network public opinion monitoring and management capabilities,etc.,with a view to better improve the local government’s online public opinion response.
