Research On Social Work Intervention Of Rural Elderly Family Support

In the 21 st century,China is an irreversible aging society.Affected by the population base and family planning policies,the total number of China 's aging population has been rising in recent years.According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics,China's elderly population reached 254 million by the end of 2019.China is facing a demographic change and its aging trend is still significant.The increase in the elderly population has brought a series of challenges to China's elderly care.The current way of pension in China is mainly family pension.According to the Huajing Information Network,90% of rural elderly people,who account for a large proportion of Chinese elderly people,are affected by the family 's old-age care.The way of family care for the elderly plays an important role in the stability and development of the whole society.This article mainly conducts a questionnaire survey on 150 elderly people in X Village of Xiaoyi City,Shanxi Province,and selects 12 elderly people to conduct relevant interviews to study the economic,psychological,social adaptation,life care,cultural entertainment,and health of the elderly in the village.Knowledge issues such as the need to understand the needs of the elderly to enrich daily life,social interaction between peers,enrich health knowledge,get rid of loneliness,andimprove social adaptation,and intervene from the perspective of social workers.Through intervention,the village elders can better cope with the challenges that arise in the process of family pensions,and to a certain extent solve the problems in rural elderly family pensions.At the same time,it also has a certain reference role in solving the problem of family pension in other rural areas of my country.It can be seen from the intervention effect that group work and case work can indeed solve the problems of rural elderly family pension to a certain extent.By carrying out group activities,the knowledge of the elderly can be enriched,the advantages of the elderly can be explored,the interests and hobbies of the elderly can be cultivated,the elderly's old-age life can be enriched,the fixed social interaction circle of the elderly can be established,the monotonous and dull phenomenon of the elderly's old-age life can be relieved,and the elderly can be improved.Social adaptability,enrich the old people's knowledge of health care,and build the concept of mutual assistance for the elderly.Through the intervention of individual cases,it helped solve the problems of grandmother Zhang's social interaction,loneliness and loneliness,and lack of knowledge of the elderly's diseases.This article evaluates the intervention process after the service is over,and puts forward suggestions for social workers to intervene in family care.These include building social support networks,respecting the needs of the elderly,enriching the health care knowledge of the elderly,and enhancing the recognition of the social work profession.
