Study On The Network Public Opinion In Local Government

In the era of "Internet +",it is of importance for governments to investigate the law of the emergence and development of the network public opinion and lead the network public opinion along the social mainstream value orientation.It is a big challenge for governments to deal with network public opinion scientifically and effectively and promote the promotion of governance capacity.Therefore,it is of practical significance to study the public opinion coping in the field of local government governance.This thesis conducts a field investigation at some departments of the Yiyang Municipal Government to understand their current strategies for the network public opinion.Statistical analysis on the response of the Yiyang Municipal Government to the network public opinion at 2015 and 2016 shows that there are some problems of the Yiyang Municipal Government in dealing with the network public opinion: First,the theory of network public opinion management is behind;the second is the lack of network public opinion monitoring and judgment ability;the third is that the coping strategies for sudden and complex network public opinion are insufficient;and finally,the accountability mechanism is incomplete.In order to solve the above problems,the thesis puts forward some suggestions for the Yiyang Municipal Government on how to improve the coping strategies for network public opinion: 1)Strengthen the information disclosure and promote the positive interaction between the government and the people;2)improve the information platform and take full use of network information of public opinion;3)pay attention to the importance of public opinion and assess the risk of network public opinion;construct the evaluation mechanism and optimize the coping strategies of the network public opinion;learn the foreign experience to promote the network management according to law.
