Study On The Influencing Factors Of Employment Of Elder Rural Migrant Workers Based On The Perspective Of Government Support

After the reform and opening up,along with the improvement of agricultural production efficiency and the development of urban industrialization,a large number of farmers chose to work in cities.They have made great contributions to China's economic development and are an indispensable force in the process of building a well-off society in China.However,in recent years,affected by multiple factors such as economic downturn,industrial structure upgrade,family fetters,rising urban price levels,and poor health,older migrant workers have been forced to take the road of return.Returning older migrant workers will still face a series of problems,the most important of which is the employment issue.,including the difficulty of returning employment and the poor quality of returning employment.These problems not only affect their family livelihood,but also affect the overall social stability and economy of our country.The problem of returning employment of older migrant workers cannot be ignored.Governments at all levels have devoted great efforts to adopt a series of relevant measures to ensure the smooth employment of returning migrant workers,but whether the current situation of returning employment of older migrant workers is related to these supporting factors,and whether these measures can affect returning employment to older migrant workers.There are few scholars who have made in-depth investigations on this issue.Therefore,this article decided to use this as an entry point to conduct research to find out the impact of government support factors on the return of older migrant workers to employment.This article consists of six parts.The first part is the introduction,including the research background,research significance,and a summary of relevant literature.Thesecond part is the definition of the concept and the theoretical interpretation,and clarifies the basic analysis logic of the article.The third part explores the problems of returning employment for older migrant workers.The fourth part is the construction of the research model.In this paper,government support factors(including regulatory support,financial support,information support,and service support)are set as explanatory variables.Demographic characteristics,self-support,family and friends support,business support,employment environment,etc Other supporting factors were set as control variables,and the returning employment status of older migrant workers(including employment difficulty,employment quality,and employment satisfaction)was set as the dependent variable.Construct a research model and put forward research hypotheses: Hypothesis 1 government support factors have a positive impact on the return of older migrant workers to employment status;Hypothesis 2 government supervision has a positive effect on the return of older migrant workers to employment status;Hypothesis 3 Government financial support status on the elderly The return of migrant workers to employment has a positive impact;Hypothesis 4 The status of government information support has a positive impact on the return of older migrant workers to employment;Hypothesis 5 The status of government services has a positive impact on the return of older migrant workers to employment.The fifth part is the empirical analysis part,using the methods of correlation analysis and regression analysis to explore the relationship between the return employment status of the elderly migrant workers in X City of Henan Province and the government support factors,and to verify the research hypothesis.The sixth part will put forward relevant policy suggestions based on the research findings.
