It is a great creation to bring villager autonomy into the framework of grassroots democracy system. At the same time, the system also faces many difficulties and challenges, and the fierce village factional competition is one of the challenges. In rural politics, village factional competition has both positive and negative effects on the effective implementation of villager autonomy. On the one hand, the existence of the village factional competition makes the villagers' awareness of rights gradually enhanced, and they are more active in safeguarding their own rights and interests, and at the same time,it makes each village faction check and balance each other, and the villager' autonomy more standardized. On the other hand, the fierce village factional competition will lead to the disorder of villager' autonomy.Firstly,in the competition of democratic election of each village faction, bribing voter is one of their customary means. It is suggested to improve the current law, clearly stipulate the legal liability of bribery in the election of village committee, and reduce the space for the growth of village factional competition.Secondly,in view of the fact that the village supervision committee is in a virtual state in many villages, and has not been implemented effectively,so it is suggested to strengthen its duties in order to reduce the possibility of the negative influence of the village factions.Thirdly, many village and town governments can not perform their duties correctly, and it is suggested to take corresponding measures to urge them to perform their duties correctly,so as to balance the power among the village factions. Finally, the villagers in many villages have weak awareness of democratic rights and low democratic participation,so it is suggested to improve the political rationality of the villagers and deconstruct the psychological basis of the village factions.
