As we all know,for children,a good education is inseparable from the family and school.Parents' involvement and students' academic achievement of school work are closely linked.Effective home-school communication is the important factors that encourage parents to support and participate in school work.Parents' actively participating in and supporting for school work can significantly improve the school's teaching achievements.In order that students can have a better effect,teacher has to make efforts to build partnerships with parents.A good communication is essential to this partnership and to build the team spirit of family and schools.In these changing times,teachers have to continue to develop and expand their skills in order to maximize effective communication with parents.For the practice of home-school communication is very basic for family to involve in the school education process.Casper states that teacher training and professional development programs,should actively promote the development of communication skills for teachers.But unfortunately,many teachers have not been trained in nor are they practicing proactive communication with parents.Thus,there are ubiquitous obstacles in the communication between teachers and parents.And they lack of effective communication strategies.Purpose of this paper is to outline a series of strategies to maximize the expansion of partnership between teachers and parents by analyzing the status and existing problems in home-school communication.This study may widen the home-school corporation and the study field of school moral education.Therefore,I would like to Takeing Xi Jie primary school in Gang Kou town of Zhongshan city as an example.This study is in the form of a questionnaire survey of school teachers and parents questionnaires.I analyze and make attribution analysis of the status and existing problems of home-school communication so as to put forward suggestions and strategies to improve and perfect the home-school communication.This paper consists of four parts,which begin with an introduction,including the proposed issue,research significance,domestic and international literature review,defining the concept,home-school communication theory,research ideas and methods concepts.The second part is the situation analysis of home-school communication of Xi Jie primary school in Gang Kou town of Zhongshan city.The third part is the attribution analysis of the status of home-school communication of Xi Jie primary school in Gang Kou town of Zhongshan city through the school,teachers and parents.The last part is to put forward the practical recommendations for schools,teachers and parents through the status of home-school communication.In this study,I concluded some existing problems in home-school communication such as the randomness of communication behavior,monotone of communication process and the one-sidedness of communication content.After analyzing I put forward some suggestions for school,teachers and parents:School can create a "parent-friendly" school environment for parents to participate in school work,provide family education guidance for parents,enhance parents' awareness of home-school communication,recruit and organize parent volunteers to participate in school work to develop measures and establish long-term mechanism;Teachers should actively combine unidirectional and bidirectional communication,hold effective parents meeting to improve the effectiveness of home-school activities,broaden the channels of communication to create more communication ways,mutual respect with parents to master the art of communication as well as increase the awareness and correct the attitudes;Parents are supposed to build learning family,join the Parents Committee,participate in school decision-making and community service activities to coordinate community resources for teachers and students,grasping the initiative to communicate with the teachers.
