With the deepening of education reform and propulsion in our country,the traditional centralized curriculum management system gradually exposed the problem of meeting the practical problems in the development of local schools.School-based curriculum development is a kind of practical activity which is advocated under the national curriculum standards and based on the school characteristic,according to the idea of running their development of school curriculum practice.One of the core content of new curriculum reform is to conduct school-based curriculum development.It is more like a banner which represents our country's education career progresses day by day.The writer personally involved in the “Li County Tourism Geography”school-based curriculum development in a middle school E in Gansu province.this paper makes a detailed analysis about the whole process of the curriculum.This paper is divided into four parts.The first part introduces the reason that why choose this tropic.Using the method of literature defines the concept of “school-based curriculum” and “school-based curriculum development”,and then summarizes the research on the school-based curriculum at home and abroad.Lying the theoretical foundation in the study for this paper.At the same time,designed a specific research framework,research on the case of “Li County Tourism Geography” school-based curriculum development.The second part discusses the development of E middle school Geography school-based curriculum condition.Firstly the paper introduces the location characteristics of Li County,followed by an analysis of the present situation of school-based curriculum development of E middle school.And finally focuses on the use of "SWOT" analysis method,from four aspects of advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and threats facing the challenge of Geography school-based curriculum the conditions of the development.The third part is the main part of this thesis,this paper expounds the development process of “Li County Tourism Geography”school-based curriculum,which determine the subject,school leadership approval,development team building and training,substantial development,development and review,reporting results of curriculum evaluation of the six aspects,the author from participation in Geography school-based curriculum development experience,for each the development of links to the detailed description and analysis.The fourth part is based on tracking the development of school-based curriculum,through the reflection on the problems found in the “school-based” status of the poor;problem identification,time and ability of teachers;development team members responsibilities are not clear;the efficiency of utilization of curriculum resources;school-based curriculum development process it.Based on the previous research,the article finally got two enlightenments to future development of school-based curriculum: school-based curriculum development highlight the dominant position of teachers;the process of school-based curriculum development,school-based curriculum teaching and researching to avoid formality.
