The key and difficult point of C hinese teaching in high school is classical poetry teaching.Through the teaching of classical poetry,students' language literacy can be improved and they are also equipped with a certain ability to appreciate the poetry works,which is an important goal of high school C hinese teaching.However the image is an important unit of poetry,image interpretation is an important method of poetry appreciation.The study based on the classical poetry which are selected in high school Chinese compulsory textbooks.In the previous studies,the author collected a large number of information related to the study of classical poetic images with the literature research method,then analyzed and sorted out it.According to the questionnaire analysis and interview with some teachers,the author found that many students are weak in the image interpretation,the main problem is that the students lack in enough common images and the accurate meaning of the images.Meanwhile,as the students don't have right methods,they cannot use the correct ways to interpret the images.In addition,some teachers don't attach importance to the key concept's comprehension and at the same time the teacher s' inflexible teaching method weakens the students' feeling and love for poetry.At last,evaluation mechanism's lagging behind and the persistence of educational ideas affect the education of students' traditional culture.In view of the above-mentioned problems,this study combines the teaching objectives of image interpretation and puts forward the countermeasures of interpreting images in the teaching of classical C hinese poems in senior high school: first,urge students to strengthen the accumulation o f common images and their meanings;second,guide students to extract the keywords near the images,change the habit of blind reading poetry;third,understand the relevant knowledge of images and repeat to strengthen them;fourth,change the teaching methods,tap the aesthetic characteristics of images,and concern about students' experience;finally,update teachers' concepts,highlight the cultural connotation images,and strengthen the traditional cultural education.
