Pit Corer once said a widely quoted sentence in 1967,"Given motivation,it is inevitable that a human being will learn a second language if he is exposed to the language data." Indeed,learning motivation plays a very important role in the process of second language learning.With the continuous improvement of China's status in the international arena,"Chinese fever" is gradually warming.In recent years,Thailand as one of the south-east Asian countries in the promotion of Chinese language teaching,to investigate Thailand learners' motivation has also caused the attention of many scholars.This study based on the related studies of second language acquisition,both at home and abroad,and also based on the reference of the research achievements of teaching Chinese as a second languages,and combined with the author's teaching experiences in Thailand,investigate students' Chinese learning motivation of the special department of Suankularb Wittayalai Nonthaburi School.In this paper,the main method is using questionnaire,SPSS 19.0 software was used to analyze the data.It described the detail data of divers aspects of learning motivation and the correlations between different aspects.Besides,combined with the results of the observation in daily teaching,we hope that we can made a comprehensive searching,and also put forward some constructive teaching strategy.Generally,Research results have shown that the students' Chinese learning motivation in Suankularb Wittayalai Nonthaburi School are positive,they are different in different dimensions.In Chinese language learning motivation level,gender,age,ethnic,frequency of Chinese using are four factors of the main causes of students'Chinese learning motivation.On the orientation of Chinese language learning motivation,age,grade,frequency of Chinese using these three aspects are significant different.On the influence of learner's motivation,gender,age,grade and frequency of Chinese using these four aspects are significant different.On the influence of learning situation motivation,age,grade these two aspect are significant different.The main three variables that cause deeply effects on the Chinese learning motivation are achievement needs,learning situations and intrinsic interest.According to the above research results,some constructive teaching strategies have been presented.We are looking forward to inspire the Thailand learners to improve the motivation of Chinese learning.
