At present,China has entered the critical stage of building a moderately prosperous society.To help 30.46 million poverty-stricken population out of poverty,education has become a good solution for both temporary and permanent purposes.It's important to help the school-age children in those poor areas receive a good education in order step out of poverty and block its inter-generational transmission.Based on the field survey,the present study is to explore the effectiveness and feasibility between vocational education and precise poverty alleviation to analyze the key issues involved in vocational education on precise poverty relief by utilizing human capital theory,intergenerational transmission of poverty theory and poverty culture theory to analyze the theoretical basis of vocational education and poor governance,and to clarify the relationship between the vocational education and precise poverty alleviation.Taking Hanzhong city as an example,the current situation of vocational education in poverty alleviation has been elucidated by investigation and interview,observation,literature research etc.The present study has found that main efforts paid on current vocational education in the practice of precise poverty alleviation including curricula education,labor skills training and service for local economic development for children in those poor families were not that satisfied.Also,our study from the supply-side structural reform of vocational education found that the professional curriculum is not reasonable.The non-degree education pays more attention on form,with less attention on actual effect.And there is a problem of existing unreasonable vocational education system from the aspects of sector planning and teaching resource.It also analyzes the reasons from the aspects of industry planning,teacher resources and educational needs.On the basis of this study,we provide some countermeasures and suggestions on precise policy,precise responsibility and precise action from the angle of government,vocational colleges and society.
