Innovation capability can greatly improve individual competitiveness and national competitiveness,which is the most important quality in the new era.Cultivating students'creative ability has become the common goal of education all over the world.The emergence and development of maker education provide a way and platform for the cultivation of innovative talents,which can enable students to develop a variety of comprehensive abilities based on innovation ability in the process of generating innovative products.Ability development needs a certain knowledge base as a support.Aiming at the fact that the maker education pays too much attention to the cultivation of ability and ignores the understanding of knowledge,this study proposes to construct the maker teaching model guided by the knowledge building theory,so that students can carry out the deep construction of knowledge and carry out innovative practice on the basis of grasping the connotation of knowledge and practical principles.Methods such as literature search,experimental research,questionnaire investigation,and interview are adopted in the study.Further research on model of maker education is carried out form the aspects of theory exploration,model establishment,and effectiveness analysis.1.Theory exploration.This study makes an in-depth study on the connotation and theoretical basis of maker education,so as to understand the essence of maker education.Through the literature review,the inner relation between knowledge building and maker education is found,and the maker instructional model based on the theory of knowledge building is formed.2.Experimental research.This study designed teaching cases for high school maker courses,and set up experimental group and control group for high school sophomore students.The experimental group used this instructional model to carry on the teaching practice for six weeks,and the control group used the traditional instructional model.3.Questionnaire investigation and Interview.The development of students'cooperative learning ability,problem-solving ability and innovation ability is measured by the student comprehensive ability questionnaire,and the development of students'cooperative knowledge construction is measured by the collaborative knowledge construction level questionnaire in the information environment.The rationality of this instructional model was verified by interview.In this study,five aspects of maker education from the perspective of knowledge building,such as the guiding concept,teaching objectives,teaching process,teaching evaluation and teaching conditions,are designed in detail to construct a new maker teaching model and verify its teaching effect.Teaching mode is a bridge connecting teaching theory and practice,experimental results show that that compared with the traditional instructional model,this instructional model can promote the students' deep construction of knowledge and the development of their comprehensive abilities such as practice ability and innovation ability,and play a good role in optimizing the classroom effect.
