Social Work Intervention In Behavioral Treatment Of Special Children

The particularly of the special children,as a Special Groups in society,and then they are always treated with prejudice.Who has long been stigmatized can not complete the normal socialization,suffer discrimination and make them to the lack of social support.In a relatively poor living environment,with others aversion and contradiction,making the special children only live in their own small circle,hard to touch with society.If lack of education,it will cause the deviation behavior of special children,due to the stigma intensifies.Thus,we must intervene in stigmatization of special children as early as possible,embody the spirit of helpfulness in Social Work,help them get rid of stigmatized influences,guide them come back to normal socialization lives on the right track.In the practice process,the author found that the problem of special children’s behavior was mainly caused by family,school and society.In the growth of special children,The absence of any one of three aspects will cause difficulties in the socialization of special children.Special children who produce deviations are easily stigmatized by others because of their own particularity.In this article,The special child Xiaozhi who was from The second primary school of MuShan county as the main intervention object,combined with the Stigma Theory and Social Support Theory,then thought contact with relatives,teachers of the special children to analyze the case of the main problem,to explore the use of behavior treatment for special children’s behavior performance results and problems.After behavioral intervention,i think that through behavior treatment to change deviant behaviors of special children,it also can help special children to improve the stigmatized influences,to integrate into society and be accepted by others.When I finish behavior intervention,I put forward the introspection and shortcomings,and thought that in order to make special children grow healthily,we need harmony between family and school environment,and also need professional talents to provide help or advice to link resources for special children.On the macroscopic view,we put forward that the local government shouldsupport for special children’s social policies,support the development of social work institutions and public organization,and provide policy support for helping special children to reduce stigma and even eliminate stigma.I think that the government,society and family should give more special care to them so as to provide a“non-discrimination environment” for their early socialization and avoid the way of life being deformed.
