The teaching content of cultural self-confidence in senior high school's ideological and political teaching mainly includes three aspects: The excellent Chinese traditional culture education,Chinese revolutionary culture and characteristic socialism advanced culture education,dialectical treatment of Western foreign culture education.Cultivating students' cultural self-confidence in high school ideological and political teaching contributes enhancing the cultural deposits of high school ideological and political courses,guiding students to establish correct cultural values,and implementing the idea of core literacy of political science.At present,there are "gain" and "loss" in cultivating students' cultural self-confidence in the ideological and political teaching of high school."Gain" is manifested in a strong interest in the excellent Chinese traditional culture and a dialectical attitude towards Western foreign culture.The "loss" is mainly manifested in little knowledge of the excellent Chinese traditional culture,low recognition of socialist cultural values with Chinese characteristics,and blind worship of Western foreign culture.The reasons are as follows.First,teachers lack full use and development of cultural resources in classroom teaching.Second,classroom teaching method is to single that it fails to stimulate students' cultural interest.Third,teachers do not realize the two-way role of teachers and students and the importance of cultural life in the teaching ideas.Besides,high school students do not fully understand their own cultural values.Based on this,the strategy of cultivating students' cultural self-confidence in high school ideological and political education can be based on teaching ideas,teaching aims,teaching contents,and teaching strategies.Firstly,it is necessary to update the teaching ideas to meet the needs of developing students' cultural self-confidence.In particular,we should give full play to students' principal part and stimulate their strong cultural interest.At the same time,teachers should act as a guide to create a rich cultural atmosphere in the classroom.Besides,we should use life as a theme material to enrich the connotation of cultural self-confidence.Secondly,we should develop teaching aims that help cultivate students' cultural confidence.The value goal should enable the students to understand the socialist core values.The emotional goal should be to cultivate the students' patriotism.The attitude goal should enable the students to treat the Western foreign culture dialectically.In addition,we should excavate the teaching contents which is beneficial to the cultivation of students' cultural confidence.This paper mainly analyzes the teaching resources of cultural self-confidence in the teaching materials of "cultural life".The teaching design was made on the course of the development of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics.Finally,in order to achieve the purpose of cultivating students' cultural self-confidence,a flexible choice of teaching strategies is needed.Through the case teaching,students have a better understanding of the excellent Chinese traditional culture.Through situational teaching,the students' confidence in the development of the advanced culture of socialism with Chinese characteristics can be stronger.Through problem teaching,students can cultivate their ability to distinguish the essence and dross from Western foreign cultures.
