This paper takes Chinese mainland's PEP(People's Education Publishing)edition textbook and Hong Kong's Qi Si edition textbook as the research object.The first chapter is the introduction of this article,the second chapter compares the guiding principles of the two editions,the third and fourth chapters analyze the similarities and differences between the two sets of textbooks from the arrangement system and the content.After the comparative analysis,the author found the following problems: the weak of arrangement sequence,the lack of writing guidance,and the unclear purpose of writing.To solve those above problems,the fifth chapter puts forward the following suggestions for Chinese mainland's PEP edition textbook what is presenting a comprehensive system of writing knowledge,filling practical knowledge,improving writing guidance,paying attention to the refinement of writing process,providing standards for writing assessment,enhancing the speculative nature of writing training.Through those above suggestions,students can improve their writing ability as we hope.This article consists of the following sections.The first part is to explain the significance of research,research object,concept definition,research review,research content,research goal,research method and innovation point.The second part discusses the writing guiding ideology of Chinese textbooks in Chinese mainland and Hong Kong,and provides the basis for evaluating the composition of Chinese textbooks.The third part is to inspect the compilation system of the writing part of the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong's textbooks,following the principle of macroscopic to microcosmic,first inspect the arrangement system of the entire textbook,and then analyze the similarities and differences between the two parts.The fourth part is to sort out the contents of the writing part,from the outside to the inside,starting with writing guidance and writing training.At the same time,we display part of the same content of the two sets of textbooks,in order to seek similarities and differences between the two sets of textbooks.The fifth part is to make some reflections on the compulsory writing part of the Chinese mainland's PEP edition,provides some suggestions for improving the compilation of the writing part.
