With the rapid development of economy and technology,education has been constantly reformed to meet the needs of social development.Since 2014,The ministry of education has proposed a system of core competencies and values for Chinese Students' development,and the core literacy of each subject has become a hot topic in educational research.As one of the four major components of the geographic core literacy,the geographical practical literacy is an important part of geography education.But now in Chinese high school geography teaching,the high school students' geographic practical literacy training is still in a weak position for a long time,how to fulfill and cultivate it,which is an urgent problem to be solved.Therefore,the purpose of this paper is to do a study on high school students' geographic practical literacy training under the group co-exploration teaching mode,which is of great significance for improving the high school students' geographic practical literacy and promoting the new geography curriculum reform.This paper adopts a variety of research methods which combine qualitative research with quantitative research.The paper is divided into seven chapters and four parts: The first part is the introduction and the study overview.Its content is to comb relevant domestic and international research status by literature research method and define the meaning and composition of the core word.The second part is status quo investigation.Its content is to understand the current Training situation of Chinese high school students' geographic practical literacy by questionnaire method and interview method.Then it analyzes the problems and causes.The third part is the cultivation strategy exploration.On the basis of theoretical research and status analysis,The article put forward a training method by combining teaching material research and case analysis,and construct a set of evaluation index system of geographic practical literacy by the analytic hierarchy process(AHP).At last,it makes some suggestions which include strengthening cooperative group construction,broadening the students' practical way,implementing multiple teaching methods and enhancing the ranks of teachers.The fourth part is the conclusion.It mainly includes summarizing the research results and indicating the problems and shortcomings.
