| The Ministry of Education clearly stated in the "Working Rules for Class Directors in Primary and Secondary Schools" : "Head teachers are the main implementers of daily ideological and moral education and student management in primary and secondary schools,and are leaders in the healthy growth of primary and secondary school students." Pupils are at the critical period of individual physical and psychological development,and the professionalization of the head teacher has a crucial influence on their growth.The professional development of primary school head teachers will profoundly affect the development of their entire career,and play a direct role in the healthy growth of primary school pupils,and indirectly affect the school’s level of schooling and sustainable development,so that the position and role of the head teacher’s work in the school seems particularly important.Therefore,the study of the professional growth of the elementary school teacher is particularly urgent.On the basis of learning and drawing on existing research results,this study adopts a method of educational narrative research.Through a narrative study on the professional development of a primary school head teacher,based on the key events that occurred in the teacher’s individual growth experience,from the pre-service student age,to the initial class teacher,and the qualification stage,the mature stage,and the persevering adherence these five aspects,the narration focuses on exploring the course of professional growth of the primary school class teacher in the real situation.Therefore,the author discusses the factors affecting the professional growth of primary school head teachers,and believes that the professional growth of primary school head teachers is the result of internal and external factors.The internal factors are the key and the external factors are the conditions.The interaction between the two directly determines and restricts the professional growth level of primary schools’ head teachers.Finally,it is inspiration to promote the professional development of the head teachers in primary schools : The school creates a good environment and promotes the professional development of the primary school head teacher;Pre-employment and post-employment integration is the basic guarantee for realizing the professional growth of the primary school head teacher;Independent development is the internal demand to promote the professional development of primary schoolhead teachers.;School-based teaching and research and school-based training effectively promote the profession development;Optimize the performance evaluation system for primary school head teachers;Teacher should find a professional leader and use it effectively.Through narrative research,this study tries to provide a real case for the theory of professional growth of primary school teachers while reducing the gap between theory and practice,and supplements the professional growth path of primary school head teachers.Through this study,we can better understand the real life of elementary school head teachers,and accumulate some experience for those who will embark on a teacher’s post.This will also provide reference and reference for prospective teachers concerned with their own development. |
